What's The Funniest Movie You've Ever Seen?????

For me, it will always be The Big Lebowski. I've seen it so many times I've lost track. But every time I see it, I crack up all over again. Here are some interesting fun facts about the movie:

"Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. She’s offering herself as prey. Not easy prey. But willing.”

Kangaroo Jack (2003) Kangaroo gets run over in the outback and for a laugh the occupants of the jeep pose for photographs believing it is dead, one sits it up, the other puts his red jacket on, the kangaroo awakes bouncing off with the jacket, containing an envelope in the jacket pocket with $50,000 cash from a mob boss in New York to deliver to a hit man it turns out for their own hit, they chase the kangaroo all over the Australian outback to get the jacket back. Hilarious.

So many movies to choose from I doubt I could ever pick a single favorite and humor is so subjective a consensus is out of the question. I lean towards particular writers and directors as favorites though.
Anything by the Pythons for it's dedicated silliness
Anything by Mel Brooks for it's satire
Anything by Rob Reiner (the Princess Bride/Harry Met Sally/The Sure thing...etc. Just well written movies
Toss in a 70's movie that probably nobody remembers-If You Could See What I Hear
I could name a hundred favorites without being able to pick a top dog

How about Tom Hanks and John Candy in what was probably the first movie either of them ever appeared in: Volunteers. You probably had to have somewhat more than a middle school education to appreciate it, or maybe you just had to be a dork. lol I'm not sure which came first, Volunteers or Joe versus the Volcano, Hanks's first movie with Meg Ryan, which wasn't all that funny.

I'm not sure anymore. Comedy hurts so many side effects these days. I still laugh out of place. I'm still all about my own captured events. Tears of joy!

I love Porky’s. Every scene makes me laugh especially the Lassie scene and the principal office scene describing a penis.

"Modern times" (Charles Chaplin) made me laugh a lot.
But I suspect my nerves were a bit frayed after a difficult test in college so it was sort of a release.
