The Proverbial House  One day, my boss rescued this beautiful older hound that had been abused and thrown out, likely too old to hunt. We named her Sookie and she had bonded amazingly with me and adored my husband and . However, the first time we tried to have sex or play time after her rescue, she ran into our 's room and began licking her in the face to wake up. It was if she was there saying "Wake Up! Don't you realize what they're doing?!? Go in there and stop them!" We did as any human would do and bought a baby gate to place on the hallway entrance. That night we excitedly prepared for play time. As soon as we started, we heard this horribly loud crash as the baby gate was ripped from its security by Sookie's feet. She jumped over the entire thing. She was sitting on our 's bed licking her in the face to wake her again when I arrived to get her sorted. The next night, he rigged up the baby gate and placed a board on the top to give Sookie the illusion that she could not jump that high. That night as we started to play again, I heard the sound of liquid hitting my laminate flooring. When we came out to check, there was a huge puddle of her urine by the door. Sookie probably thought you were being harmed and panicked. Poor dog. All of mine are rescues except for two. If a man treats your dog good then he'll be good for you. Hound dogs wander if they smell something interesting and will get lost easy as a result. A cat, a coon, and squirrel are all the same to a hound dog. At least to mine. Woof.Woof....Woof...Woof...Woof....I think you know what I'm talking about.
