what do i mean about Nigerian Scammers posing at dominant women? Consider the account saucegirlie.

i received the exact same copy and paste in-alt email message from that account on 6/10, 6/15, 6/19, 6/26, 6/27, and 7/3. Exact same message, even after i mailed the account to start dialog. not sure if i can copy and paste the text here, it includes steps to contact the person outside of alt.

outside of alt, the demands for money begin and never stop. you could explain that you are broke, and have trouble feeding yourself, the demands ratchet up. you could explain that you could lose your home if you don't pay property taxes, and the demands continue.

another scammer behavior - seems to have naked pictures of a pretty lady to send me, but never has a functional webcam or even a functional camera on her smart phone.

and don't forget threats. sometimes you see threats about harm in the real world, if the person tries to spin your words saying "no" into a threat of violence against them.

anybody else want to share their experiences?

In order to message other members you need a credit card. As long as the scammers continue to purchase Gold status Alt doesn't care that they are scammers.

Poor English grammar, always "seeking for" ie. seeking for man, seeking for love, etc... Never heard anyone that speaks English talk like that

And ninety-nine percent of the time the age is between 27 and 33... I'd hate to be a legit Lady in that age range, no one would believe her!!

I can name a few right off the top of my head from personal experience... Others are actual 'gold' members that will try to play you and ask for 'expenses' before meeting you. I even had one that wanted me to support her 100% while we were having discussions. Total bullshit and obvious scammers!

It's the nature of all sites these days.
I laugh at how fast they think their retarded messages escalate too. They want you to go to hangouts, then start asking for money. They're going to quit their job because they're about to land a big CONTRACT, and for the CONTRACT they need to buy things to get them ready, or one said she wanted to meet from the other side of the state and would take a buss to see me. She just needed $800. (Greyhound prices from PA to Philly is only about $50.... I think there's some extra markup in there)

Let's not forget all the women with the mail order bride write ups here. I'm a caring sensitive woman looking for making that perfect loving family. I'll fill you with funny times and understanding..... Who's dumb enough to even believe those posts?

And of course they all REALLY want to meet you, but that's why now they're going to send you a secure dating site link so you can join and find them because you weren't just trying to talk to them on a paid membership site. But the accounts won't get deleted.

A word of advice or warning when dealing with scammers.

If, by accident or the scammer presented too good a front, you send money and realize your mistake, a good first move is to contact one of the Big Three and place a Credit Freeze on yourself.

Skipping this step could result in multiple credit cards getting issued in your name and your credit will be messed up for years.

Let me know if you want explicit, step by steps on how to do that.

Long ago, the scammers used snail mail. Then they moved to telex, some used fax and then they thrived on Internet.

Now a few are back to snail mail because it lends credibility to the messages.

Another unfortunate problem for any genuine member, would be to live in Aldershot. On Nigeria, I ended up talking on the phone to one female, who said she was South African. 'But you don't have a South African Accent,' said I 'Yes I do.' No, you have an accent that is African, but it's most definitely not South African.' Upon which blackmail was threatened. I laughed out loud. She was somewhat taken aback. 'You obviously know nothing about me at all. Go ahead. In the areas I work, that is positively a boost, not a negative.' The phone goes dead......

Something that I wonder about. Seeing as the company that runs alt doesn't give a crap about the scammers, could we make the environment so hostile to them we can annoy them to go somewhere else?

Any response?
